Wedding Planning & Ideas

Before purchasing your dress, ask the bridal shop for any suggestions on caring for the fabric. Like most clothing, your gown will likely get soiled to some degree when you wear it, so be careful not to let any food or drink stain the material. If something does accidentally spill on it, be sure to wipe it up as soon as possible.
Be sure to make arrangements to have your gown delivered to a professional cleaners as soon after the wedding as possible. It is best to have the dress cleaned no more than two days after the wedding. If you will be away on your honeymoon, arrange to have it taken for you.
After your dress has been cleaned, place it in
an acid-free box. Be sure to store the box in a dry, mothproof place.
This will help prevent mildew and damage to your gown for years to come.
