Wedding Planning & Ideas

Music and Entertainment
|
Live background
music, musical entertainment and even music for dancing may be
options to be considered, as opposed to recorded music versions. In
planning for these, make sure you know of any restrictions, as well
as the needed electrical outlets. Consider also the
tastes of your guests. It is true that this is your wedding and your
reception and therefore you should have your choice, but if the
majority of your guests are older, a punk-rock band might be a bit
too much. The best advice is to use your best judgment. However,
your decision on entertainment, particularly live music, should be
made as soon as possible, since some entertainers book up to a year
ahead. An atmosphere of fun and relaxation can be set by an
orchestra, a small combo, a band, a disc jockey service, or even a
single instrumentalist. Whatever you decide, check to see what they
will wear, how many breaks they will take and how long they will
play. Have a firm understanding about their fees and what they
include. |
