Wedding Planning & Ideas

Reception
|
Almost as
soon as you have chosen a wedding date and the site for the
ceremony, one of your next big decisions will be to decide on the
kind of reception you want and where it will be held. The reception
should be a relaxed and joyful tie for the bride and groom, their
parents, members of the wedding party and guests, especially if the
ceremony is a formal one. Planning early with skilled and reputable
professionals is the key to a successful reception Many decisions surrounding the reception hinge on the location you choose. For instance, if you plan to serve champagne, wine or other liquors at the reception, then you probably would not be able to do this inside a church facility. Another factor to consider in the location is whether the music you have chosen for the reception hours would be approved. Before getting too far into planning, find out what restrictions or policies are in effect for the use of the facility. Still another factor to consider is the date you have chosen for the wedding and reception. Some reception sites are much more in demand at certain seasons of the year than others. Thus, it is not too early to book a reception site nine to twelve months ahead of the date, especially if you choose a club, hotel, catering hall, or restaurant |
