Wedding Planning & Ideas

Videographer
|
An increasingly
popular option for weddings is to hire a videographer to
professionally film your wedding. Often the bride misses the initial
parts of the ceremony before she enters. Many times the bride and
groom are so caught up in the excitement of the moment, they are
unable to really appreciate the event. Having your wedding on video
will capture all the sights and sounds that photos miss and will
allow you to relive the event again and again. Much like a
photographer, a videographer must possess a professional attitude
and exhibit quality work before being hired. Schedule your
videographer at least nine months in advance. When you meet with
your prospective videographer, ask to see a demo of his work. Listen
closely to the audio; notice the angles he captures and the quality
of production. He may even have a wedding demo at the location or
church you are using. Ask what kind of
packages they have to offer. Most videographers now offer more than
one camera, and some offer hidden remote controlled cameras. Hidden
cameras capture the bride's and groom's expressions without
distracting from the ceremony. find out how long they will stay at
your reception and if they do interviews with the guests. Many
professionals charge an extra fee for additional copies, so it is
important to know the costs up front. Be sure to request
all costs of the video in writing up front. Many videographers
charge a flat rate, while others charge separately for hours spent
on the job, editing, equipment, and special effects. |
